WOW!! It has been a while since I have posted here. Sorry for the delay. The delay was probably because I didn't get in a single workout last week. I was so tired from our camping trip over memorial weekend, I honestly felt like a walking zombie! But this week, I am fell completely on track.

I found this workout on MSN, called the "Wave" workout. You have 3 different waves and 2 different types of walks to do. It alternates between the walks and waves.

Monday, I did the bikini walk (25 minutes @ a quick pace) and then Wave #1. Which was Squats, lunges, and dead lifts with heavy weights~I used 12# weights. 15 were a little to much. I did 6 sets of 6 reps

Tuesday, I did the tankini Trot, you walk at a quick pace for 3 minutes then run for 30 secs. You do this for 4 times alternating. I walked at 4.2 and ran at 7.2. And then I did Wave 2 of the workout, which was chest press, lying tricep curls, and then bent over one arm row. I used 10# for the chest press, 8 on the bent row and 5 for triceps. I did 2 sets of 12 reps.

Tonight, I am doing the bikini walk at home with the kids in the wagon for 30 minutes, then doing Wave 3, which is working the Core of your body~ Doing the Hover, extended bicycle, and the knee sweel. I figured I could easily do this at home tonight, rather than keeping the kids out so late.

I have been right on target with calories. I have been at 1400-1500. Monday was great, I think yeasterday, I might have been over 50-100 calories, I ate one extra taco and then snacked on 1\2 of a taco shell while cleaning up the kitchen and then had a small cup of sugar-free applesauce before I went to bed.

I kept eyeing the nuttybutty bars last night, but knew that they were awful, even if I only ate one stick of it. I noticed the "butt" in the word....and that is exactly where it would have gone.

This weekend we are heading to the lake for my husband's grandmothers, 90th birthday celebration. Since we are heading to the lake, I am sure that there will be a bathing suit involved at some point...which I did buy a week ago for memorial weekend. But, I want to feel good about myself and how well I did ALL week long. Maybe it is the summer season that is jump starting my motivation, but I am ready to kick in gear and shed the rest of it off.

I am working to get to goal by Vacation week which is 7/15!!! I think it is possible. The last time I weight in I was at 138~ I am planning on Weighting in on Friday Morning or SAturday Morning,I will update the post then and let you know where I stand

ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THE DAY....REFUSED Doughnuts in the break room this morning. I stuck with my raisin toast, bacon and apple that I brought in!!! YEA :o)
